Properly setting the times ensures that your water filtration system operates efficiently and continues to provide you with excellent water. However, in most cases, failure to reset the time is not catastrophic. If the time is only an hour off, filtration will regenerate an hour off. As long as water is not being used while filtration is in regeneration, contaminants will not be introduced into the home.
