You might call us "the water nerds," not just because of the data, analytics and engineering specs that we immerse ourselves in, but because of our love for science, technology, and the scientific method. Truth is, the science behind water matters - especially when treating water for contaminants. It's the reason Mountain Water Systems is exclusively a water treatment company. One hundred percent of our time is spent applying science to improve water quality. We have over 40 years of information, specifically relating to western North Carolina and the surrounding area. We've spent decades testing, identifying, measuring, analyzing and making expert recommendations based on what we've found.
We start by getting to know your water - its source, chemistry, and the amount of demand for it (potential usage). We understand the important relationship between flow rate, contact time, and water usage. We understand the science behind different treatment methods and which is an effective solution in any given scenario. It all starts with water testing. We offer free water testing and a free consultation at our Asheville Office (see collection instructions here) where we ask the right questions and provide the right treatment options for your water.
Technology has come a long way, and we couldn't be more excited about where it's heading, when it comes to water treatment. We remain committed to providing effective & efficient solutions, and all available options for doing so. Some technology is more affordable and available than others. All too often, we fix or replace a system installed by someone who never truly understood the science behind effective treatment. The most common issue we see is undersized and/or inadequate equipment. This can add up over time, so it's important to hire an expert and only spend what you need to.
Without boring you with the science behind our recommendations, we value your trust, confidence, and your quality of life. We're here for you, so feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns with your water and we'd love to solve these problems together!
